Topic : Practical course to study physiology and physiopathology of pancreatic islets
EASD will hold its 25th Scientists Training Course in Montpellier, France, from Sunday November 11th to Friday November 16th 2018, with the objective of promoting new talents in the field of diabetes research and fostering diabetes research in centers throughout the world.
The Scientists Training Course is open to EASD members who hold some experience in research and who work in an academic environment. Applicants must be able to communicate fluently in English, the language in which the Scientists Training Course will be conducted. A maximum of 16 applicants will be admitted in order to maintain a high level of personalized attention and interaction. Participants are required to attend the course for its entire duration. 
 
Venue and organizers
The 25th Training Course will be hosted by the Physiopathology of Pancreatic beta-cells research laboratory at the Institute of Functional Genomics (IGF), Montpellier, France. Dr. Stéphane Dalle, Dr. Magalie Ravier, Dr. Safia Costes, Dr. Gyslaine Bertrand and their colleagues are responsible for organizing the course.
